Temporary Closure of Museum and Suspension of Events

Heath Robinson MuseumIn response to government guidelines and given the current situation, the Management Board has made the difficult decision to temporarily close the museum from tomorrow, Thursday 19th March until further notice. During this time all events and regular workshops will also be cancelled. Our online shop remains open at this time with orders being dispatched on a weekly basis. Our priority is the welfare of our volunteers, staff, visitors and other supporters without whom we could not run.

As a small independent charity we do not take this decision lightly. This is a huge period of uncertainty for everyone. As a charity we will be working hard to survive the financial implications of closure.

We will continue to listen to government advice and keep you all abreast of developments at the museum. Due to the uncertainty of the situation we cannot say when the museum will reopen but we hope for your continued support during our closure and when we reopen in the future.

If you have purchased tickets for events we will be in touch with further information. Any museum entry tickets booked for during the closure period will be accepted once we reopen. Please contact us on [email protected] if you have any questions.

We will continue to be active online and on social media, and hope that you will continue to follow us through the usual channels. Please keep an eye on our website for further updates.

We hope you are all staying healthy. Please be sure take care of yourselves and your families.
