Or should that be a new “Air Bee & Bee” in the Bridge Street Gardens?

The new Mayor of Harrow, Councillor Yogesh Teli, accompanied by his wife Mayoress Neela Teli, came to the renovated Bridge Street Gardens in central Pinner to to cut the ribbon to open the bug hotel created by the Bridge Street Gardens volunteers. This was the Mayors first official duty of his year of office and he spoke of his hope that this great example of local civic action by volunteers could be replicated in other areas of the borough.
The Mayor with Bridge Street Gardens Volunteers

The hard work over the past year by a dedicated group of volunteers has resulted in what had been a somewhat neglected small open space becoming an attractive park which is now being well used by Pinner residents and visitors to the main shopping and business area.
This project was co-funded by the London Borough of Harrow and The Pinner Association.
