Tombola Appeal – Harrow In LEAF

I have received an email from Harrow in LEAF. This is for the annual show at Headstone Village Show on Monday 27 August.

Tombola Appeal
Do you or your friends and family have any unwanted new or “in good condition” used items that could be donated for our popular Tombola Stall?

We do need a few more items to top up the Harrow in LEAF table this year, or even donate some plants for us to sell on.

If so, please contact Diana on 020 8863 7558 to discuss delivery or collection.

Our Email is Down

At the moment we have a problem which the technical team are working on.

All of our @Pinnerassociation.co.uk emails are down. If you wish to get in contact – leave a comment against any post and I will ensure it gets forwarded to the relevant person.

Thanks for your understanding.

Stardust Big Band

Wow; the weather God’s certainly looked down on us favourably this Sunday as the Stardust Big Band played at the third Concert in the Park.

(I had given up looking at the weather forecast as I didn’t want to get depressed.)

Hardy souls who ignored the weather forecast where treated to some wonderful music and singing.  Thank you to everyone for making it a memorable afternoon.  See you next week for the final concert of the season – The Grimsdyke Brass Band.

Big Stardust Band

The big stardust band will be serenading us on Sunday afternoon in the Pinner memorial Park at 2:30pm. Bring your chairs, picnic and umbrella’s (useful for rain or sunshine).

We look forward to seeing you there.

A limited number of chairs will be available for hire. The weather forecast is looking ok.

PWS – The Final Chapter

We have received an email from Daniel Lester, Head of Communications at Harrow Council, with the final report on Pinner Wood School.

In case you are wondering what they are doing digging up the school field – this is to put a drainage tank in and nothing to do with the chalk mines.

The report is in two parts and can be accessed by clicking on the following links:-
