Proposed Closure of the Waxwell Lane Car Park
Harrow Council have issued a Traffic Order notifying of their proposal to permanently close Waxwell Car Park located off Waxwell Lane, Pinner. This follows:-
planning permission to redevelop the site on which the car park is located being granted. We understand that the car park is to be closed by February 2019.
A copy of the proposed order, including documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposal, are available for inspection at request between 9am to 5pm, Mondays to Fridays inclusive at the one stop shop at the Civic Centre, or by visiting the Traffic Order page of the Harrow Council website (listed under the heading “Proposed and recently introduced traffic management schemes” as “Waxwell Lane Car Park – Proposed Closure”):

Pinner Pantomime – Traders Fancy Dress Winners
Did you know that we sponsor the “Traders Fancy Dress” competition at Pinner Pantomime evening?
The Worshipful Mayor, Councillor Kareema Marikar and our chairman Christine Wallace had the hard task of judging the entrants.
First Prize went to Earth White in Victorian (or as one child said, Mary Poppins) outfits.
Second Prize when to BROOKs who dressed as as Dumbledore and a witch from Harry Potter Novels.

Greetings; This is a message from our local police.
Harrow Apollo Male Choir Seek New Members
Harrow Apollo Male Choir are looking for new members.
This choir which is now in its 77th year is in danger of folding if we can’t recruit some younger members to ensure it remains a going concern.
They currently do about 12 concerts a year in the local area. Their efforts have contributed to raising over £130k over the last 10-12 years.
