It’s the final concert of the season.

Stardust Big Band, a jazz band playing music from early swing to modern big band spanning the 1920s to the modern day, return to play in the Pinner Memorial Park on 18 August at 2:30pm.

Bring a chair and picnic.

There will be a bucket collection to help off set the cost of the concerts.

A first in the history of The Pinner Association’s Concerts in the Park season.

We welcome Nimesh Sanghoi and his team who will be performing ‘Bollywood Blast’ the Pinner Memorial Park on 11 August from 2:30pm.

Some of you will have heard them play at Midsummers d’light organised by the Pinner Business Club.

Bring a picnic and a chair.

There will be a bucket collection to help off set the cost of the concerts.

Nimesh is a well-known name in the UK Bollywood live music circuit, whose career spans over three decades. Nimesh is best known as a versatile singer and fantastically spontaneous entertainer who is extremely popular with audiences of all ages. Known for his ability to engage and captivate audiences with his magnetic and infectious personality, his versatile style leaves audiences mesmerised and always wanting “one more song”!

 

 

Harrow Steel – Concerts in the Park

Today at our first Concert in the Park. Harrow Steel transported the audience to Jamaica.  For once the weather obliqued as it was dry, sunny and the  temperature up to 28C.

Next week we have Simply Gray playing at 2:30pm at Pinner Memorial Park 4 August 2024.

Bring a picnic and a chair.

There will be a cash collection to help offset the cost of the concerts

“Harrow Steel” is a charity steel band. They were founded in 2019 and are based in the London Borough Harrow. The charity create an ethos of challenge and nurture that provides an opportunity for gifted and talented young musicians aged 13 – 21 to learn complex music aurally within a Steel Band.

Simply Gray are a classic rock, jump jive and do wop band. They first appeared at our concerts in 2019.  Some of you will know them from their performances at St George’s Day and Pinner Village Show.  They hold the record for the longest over run .

Stardust Big BandThey are a London-based Jazz band playing music from early swing to modern big band spanning the 1920s to the modern day. With a mixture of music and very talented singers, you might find your self singing along or even dancing.

Stardust Big Band – Concert In The Park Sunday 21st August @2:30pm Pinner Memorial Park

Come along to our final band concert in the park where the Stardust Big Band will be playing.

There will be no chair hire so please bring your own chair. I would suggest that you bring your unbrellas for shade.

If able, please park in Chapel Lane car park or walk to the event.
