‘Mr William Curtis’s Dilemma’: A look at Middlesex County Council’s Architects in the 1930s.

Did you go to Harrow Weald Grammar School or Pinner County School? William Curtis was the architect of both schools, and many others in the area including Pinner Wood. He was a leading architect of interwar British Modernism and credited with ‘Modernising Metroland’.

The Pinner Local History Society’s next meeting is on Thursday 1st June at 8.00 pm in Pinner Village Hall where Philip Crouch will talk on the subject of ‘Mr. William Curtis’s Dilemma’.

Visitors are welcome, suggested donation £3.
