I write to tell you about a nasty incident that happened at our house on Bridle Road last night.
While my mother was alone at home, three men kicked our (very heavy) door down and burst into our house. My mother was threatened with a screwdriver by one of the men,while the house was ransacked by the other men. Jewellery worn by mother on her wrist was forcibly removed. This was a particularly nasty incident which the police described as “extreme”. The police were here for over three hours, had a scene of crime tape around the house while forensics officers did their work.
Do ask people to be extra vigilant?
