£100

Golf Day at Denham Golf Club to raise money for people affected by cancer and other serious conditions

Join us for a round of golf on the fabulous course at Denham Golf Club followed by a lovely meal from the carvery.

A golf day in aid of a charity at Mount Vernon Hospital that helps people affected by cancer and other serious conditions is taking place in June, it has been announced.

The event is organised by Paul Strickland Scanner Centre, an independent medical charity that provides life changing CT, MRI and PET/CT scans used to diagnose and monitor mainly cancer but also other serious conditions. Money raised through the golf day will be used to make sure patients can benefit from leading edge scanning equipment and furthers medical research into cancer and other conditions.

The event is an 18 hole team Stableford Competition and there will be team as well as individual prizes.  Apart from coffee and bacon rolls on arrival, participants will be able to tuck into a three course meal with their team mates and other players, all included in the entry fee of £100. In addition, there will be a raffle and charity auction.

The charity is currently looking for local businesses who would like to raise their profile and make a difference to their community by sponsoring a hole for £100.
