Mini Engineers’ Workshop

31 May 2017 @ 11:00 - 16:00

£20

It’s Heath Robinson’s birthday on 31st May! Come and celebrate the Gadget King by building your own gadget in this extended Meccano workshop in the Verden Gallery, upstairs at West House, next door to the Heath Robinson Museum. The workshop is suitable for ages 9-14.

For the second year running, members of the West London Meccano Society will be sharing their expertise, teaching would-be young engineers how to build their own moving models. The tutors will also bring a selection of expert-built Meccano models to show to participants.

Booking essential. £20 covers expert tuition, lunch (drinks, sandwiches and fruit) and Meccano to build with on the day. For an extra £5 (kindly subsidised from £13) you can take home the whole vintage Centenary 00+ set Meccano kit, e-manual and tools to continue building and designing at home.

Please note that the models you see here are not the models that will be built at the workshop.
